Orange sunset behind the trees

The sun doesn’t go down each time in the same place, rather it moves a bit along the horizon each day until Christmas and then changes direction. So there are just a few days in the year when I could take this shot from my apartment and luckily the sky happened to be clear and I happened to be on the terrace at the right moment :) I love how the tree branches look like some kind of lace over the bright sun.. or at least that’s my impression :)

Red morning sky

It may seem unbelievable, but I actually didn’t change anything in the original image (except for the size). The sky was exactly the same colour and brightness. The picture is taken about 20 minutes before sunrise – getting up early is REALLY worth! :)
