My family were here a while ago and my mom made this improvised strawberries cake with biscuits, some cream and some coconut to give a perfect look and flavour – yummy! :)

I love this simple big brown mug – the tea looks even warmer in it, I think :) And I love tea at breakfast :)

Autumn retro still life at breakfast

I tried to make a retro-looking autumn still life using part of my breakfast this morning :) The white balls in the wooden cup are traditional armenian cookies. They have some nuts inside covered with something sweet – I think it’s Turkish delight – absolutely delicious! I took a few more shots which I’m planning to upload this week, so „stay tuned“ :)

New mug for my morning coffee :)

I found it in a small shop among old, dusty and useless kitchen utensils :) there were just two mugs – this one and a lightly pink one and I took them both very cheap – it was a lucky day :)

Coffee for two

These are the same cups of coffee from this image. This time isolated and brighter – and I think this simple white look is more suitable for the sunny morning it was that day and it makes the coffee itself look darker and tastier :)

Morning coffee and a lime-tree bloom

Two cups of ink-black extra bold morning coffee from Sumatra – enough to wake up an elephant! :) The gentle aroma of the lime-tree brought some fresh feeling inside.

Mmmm, delicious! :) It was such a calm early morning – the light was just begging for a still-life photo :) It was very soft and warm because the sum was just rising and there were some tiny clouds – like mist – around it, so it wasn’t too bright… The perfect beginning of a long day! :)
