Home made biscuits cake with coffee and milk

My mom made this delicious biscuits cake for a small family celebration. The recipe is very simple, but the result is amazing! The icing is made of egg whites and sugar and the nice golden color is made by baking the whole thing for a couple of minutes on very high temperature. It goes perfectly with the afternoon coffee latte :)

The sun peeks through the leaves of a walnut tree in a friend of mine’s backyard. She lives in a small village near Varna and during the summer her garden is so green and full of tasty fresh fruits!

It was such a calm warm (but not too hot) afternoon at the beach :) I just laid down listening to the sound of the waves, feeling the gentle wind and looking at the sun through the hair fallen on my face… :)

Tiny tree blossom

Taken at the beginning of spring in the park near my home – the tree itself was very young – I was suprised to see it blooming. It had not more than 20 or 30 small blossoms like this one – so cute :)

Winter tree in the afternoon

Not much time take new pictures these days and not much blossoming trees downtown, so I decided to upload another winter photo (hopefully the last one for the next several months). I wondered whether it would be better to make this one black and white, but in the end decided to leave it as it is – I like the colour of the sky and it looked so pale and boring in the B&W version…
